| Description: | Responsible for all sales activities in the District in regard to all Ferring Products. Ensures that all programs are properly followed and company policies are in full compliance.
Directs, coaches supervises and reviews activities of each Districts Reproductive and Endocrine Specialist and Consultants. Provides input to national sales strategies for fertility product line. Interacts with Key Accounts at District level and interfaces with all levels of the organization. |
| Duties: | Meet District sales and market share objectives for assigned products
Direct, coach and support activities of direct reports
Provide guidance and direction to direct reports regarding sales strategy, call planning, call frequency, market share productivity and execution of actions plans (POAs)
Handle hiring, coordination of training, appraisals, and terminations of direct reports
Represent Ferring at Professional Industry and Symposia Meetings
Participate in establishing pricing policies
Ensure that District Budgets are contained within mandated guidelines
Conduct district meetings to train and motivate direct reports
Review and analyze key reports to assure quarterly and annual objectives are met
Maintain appropriate administrative records
Monitor and control expenses for direct reports
Work in the field on a routine basis with all direct reports
Work closely with targeted key customers to ensure the business
Make recommendations to senior management with regards to account coverage, call patterns, competitive strategies, and administrative issues incentive programs, targeting frequency
Work closely with Product Management, key account managers and home office staff on promotional programs and activities
Meet routinely with National Field Sales Director to carry out other objectives that may be assigned
Ensure that district representatives operate in full compliance with corporate, PhRMA and OIG guidelines.

| Qualifications: | Bachelors Degree (life science preferred)
Minimum of two to five years of experience in pharmaceutical health care sales with at least two years of sales management experience
Ability to interface with various disciplines and become part of a team
Ability to conduct efficient and effective district meetings
Excellent communication skills
Good analytical skills
Ability to achieve results through others
District Manager must reside within the district boundary
